The capacity of the 2021 Escape’s gas tank can change depending on the engine type driver’s purchase and whether the FWD and AWD drivetrain are picked. Each model of the 2021 Escape that uses AWD uses a 15.7-gallon gas tank. The 2.5-liter Hybrid engine comes with a 14.3-gallon tank and the 2.5L Plug-In Hybrid trim level of the Escape has an 11.2-gallon tank.
The 2021 Escape has a max range of over 440 miles in its standard setup. Its standard model gets 28 miles per gallon cruising through the city and 34mpg for driving on the highway, averaging those two results in an EPA-estimated 30 miles per gallon combined. Although the Plug-In Hybrid model ratings have yet to be announced, the Hybrid trim of the Escape produces the most fuel-efficient ratings with 44mpg in the city and 37mpg riding on the highway.
The 2021 Ford Escape has a 1.5L turbo EcoBoost 3-cylinder with 181 horsepower that’s paired with an eight-speed auto transmission for smooth driving. As mentioned before, most of the different models of the Escape have their own unique engines. The standard 1.5-liter engine isn’t the only gas-powered engine, a 250 horsepower producing 2.0-liter 4-cylinder EcoBoost is available as well for buyers to add. Each Escape Hybrid trim level equips a 2.5L naturally aspirated Hybrid 4-cylinder that makes 165 hp, meanwhile, the Plug-In Hybrid uses its own 2.5L engine.

Very friendly and professional. Took care of my problem with no wait. Voluntarily check for warranty and found car still has a few months left. The battery was still good but a tracking device is draining battery in cold weather. They discontinued the device and there was no charge. Great group

The dealership did not pressure me into buying a car at all. They made the process super easy. I had been shopping around for a while and Jimmy at the dealership mad it painless. From the time I pulled up, test drive the car, and drove away with my new car it was less than 3 hours.

We were traveling from Durango Co to Nashville Tn, the check engine light came on while climbing a mountain in Albuquerque, we pulled over and called our Ford dealer in Nashville they diagnosed the problem indicating that a # 2 cylinder was misfiring. We were able to arrive in Amarillo Friday evening, we called Gene Messer Ford. Noah, the Service representative advised us to bring the vehicle in the morning. They resolved the problem in a very reasonable amount of time. Noah and the service personnel were extremely helpful and nice l would highly recommend your dealership to anyone.
The process was smooth and easy. it was pretty quick too. Todd Nelson helped us with a ford explorer platinum edition that is just perfect! He really cares about his customers! He made sure we were comfortable with all the technology and even followed up a couple of days later to make sure we were happy with our purchase.
