The Edge has an 18.5-gallon gas capacity, making for a long trip anytime drivers gas up their tank. In a sport utility vehicle body, it is rare to feel a sporty drive but the 2022 Edge features it with ease. Combined with the large fuel tank size, it is excellent for drivers who want to stay out on the road longer.
The 2022 Edge has a max range of over 420 miles for most of the trims. The SEL, SE, Titanium, and ST-Line trim levels get up to 21mpg in the city, 28 miles per gallon highway, for 23 MPG combined. However, the ST trim equips a different engine resulting in 25 highway MPG, 19 city MPG, for 21mpg combined.
The Ford Edge comes with a 2.0-liter EcoBoost® Turbo 4-cylinder engine that creates 250 horsepower quickly. There’s also the optional Twin-turbo 2.7L EcoBoost® V6 engine that’s only equipped in the ST trim and it creates 335hp and 380 lb-ft. of torque. Though the engines have different amounts of power, they were both made to thrill every driver from sun up to sundown. The Ford Edge is truly versatile in every aspect, blending driving performance and tech to make life fun and easier.

Staying in Amarillo the morning we were leaving the check engine light came on in our Ford F-250 Truck. We called Gene Messer Ford and they got us in at 10:30. Fortunately we were assigned Jeremy Chastain as a service advisor. He came out and identified the problem himself and took our vehicle to be worked on. He kept us up to date on everything and made sure we were comfortable while waiting. They had us back on the road in a few hours. Wish we had a Dealership with people like Jeremy working there where we live.

J. C. Arhens was great. He was the first person I talked to on Friday about a check engine light. He called me that afternoon to let me know what diagnostics had found. It was a leaking #2 cylinder.
